Family is love. :)

NEW YEAR, NEW BEGINNINGS. Hello again from my computer! :) I know I said I would blog more last year, well this year, it's time to implement those new year's resolutions! :)

Lots has happened in the past years, I got married to the love of my life, changed jobs and said goodbye to my 8 year long relationship with my last archi firm. So much has happened, and one thing that I realize, change is always happening. :)

SIMPLE BUT CHIC. Hello peeps! Its been a long while since I've blogged, no thanks to my overloaded work schedule. haha. 

So far I am still here, and managing. Sometimes you just have to sit back and relax, in spite of the things happening around you. There is always a reason for such things, and you'll become better because of it. I've always found that complex things suddenly become simple when you take a minute to organize, orient yourself and of course lift everything up to God. Life would be a lot easier if we just stopped worrying, do our best and let God do the rest. I know it's cliche, cut you'll never experience the truth behind it unless you really decide to do it. :)

We left for Bangkok last September 5 and came back on the 9th. I had a great time with my college friends exploring the city, experiencing the culture, and the food- to die for! I didn't get to shop as much as I wanted (yes, i know, i should have! haha) But it's another reason to come back. Their airport was really nice and the architecture amazing. People long ago really had a talent in design and construction. I totally miss Thailand! Will do posts on that soon. :)

We discovered a great place to eat at Malingap street, in Teacher's Village. They call it the Z Compound. Will tell you more about that too.

Did I mention that I so love the simplicity of the outfit posted? I love how it's simple, but chic at the same time. It's how you handle it that really makes the difference. :) I'm really getting into collecting simple and classic pieces now, for a more polished, but chic look.

TRAVELING THE WORLD. We just came back from a short trip to Hongkong last weekend. I personally waited for this for the whole year (we booked our flight last year, in October. Abangan ang seat sales online!) and was super excited to be travelling out of the country again this year. The last time I traveled was in March of 2012, we went on a business trip with my close friends/kinakapatid to China. I had such a great time on that trip! Goal na yan every year to travel to one country at a time, starting first with the Asian countries (when our budgets permit us to do so. haha) . I know we just arrived early last Saturday, and I can't wait to go back! So in honor of my hangover from our Hongkong trip, here are some travel quotes with a little kwento on the side. haha.

RAIN OR SHINE, friends will always be there for you. :) Cheesy as it is, it is true. I am just so thankful to have close friends who I can share everything with, even my innermost feelings and thoughts. :) 

MY DAILY DOSE OF THE GOOGLYGOOEYS. I love how the Google Gooeys illustrate cartoons that everyone can relate to. Who hasn't experienced the feeling of waking up but not wanting to get up? That's exactly what the past few days have been for me, so hard to get out of bed because of the super cozy weather, I actually think fantasize about sleeping in and going to work at a later time every morning. haha.

GRACE IMMEASURABLE. We sometimes forget that we don't have to live our lives full of stress and worries. All we have to do is bask in God's grace, mercy and peace, knowing that all is right as long as you're holding on to Him and to His promises.

Today, be reminded of God's unconditional love - with this comes His immeasurable grace, His inexhaustible mercy, and His inexpressible peace. Now that's enough to get us through - whatever situation we're in.

No Monday blues here! :)

THE DEEP IS CALLING. There are just some days when you start to think: is God really there? Is He really concerned with me and my life? There are many times when I have thought this, but when I catch myself with said thoughts, I immediately shut them out. While it is true that having a personal relationship with God is the best thing in the whole world, I am sorry to tell you that it doesn't eliminate the problems that we might face. There is one thing we can be certain of though, that God will always come through for us. :) God is such an awesome God, and He wants to show us His awesomeness, how great He really is. And we see His power when we go through these seemingly tough times, and allow Him to work His awesomeness on our behalf. As long as we hold on to Him, then there's nothing to worry about (I'm also talking to myself here. haha)

He calls us to swim in the deeper waters, where we have nothing else to hang on to but Him. We get immersed in His grace and love, and though we may think that that is the worst situation to be in, God says it is the best position to be in, a front row ticket to God's awesomeness, and greatness. :) I can just keep going on and on. haha. 

I've been really stressed with work lately, but I think this is God's way of showing me my miracle this week. Frankly we should be asking God everyday for a miracle, He would so love to show us how He works out the impossible stuff! Life with God is really an adventure! 

I hope you guys are having a great week, no matter what it is you're going through, remember God is calling you to a deeper level. Its time to swim deeper. :)
