BEIGE AND STRIPES GO WELL TOGETHER. This is what I wore to the House of Design Event by One Mega Publishing. (see my post here.) I came from the office and had no time to dress up for the event, so I wore this dress instead (the material is a sheer cloth that is fit for dressy occasions) and threw on a gold statement necklace to glam up my look.

I brought my black pumps with me, but wore my flats on the way home. Too bad I wasn't able to take a picture of the pumps with the outfit. :) Goes to show that you can do so much with just a change of shoes, and accessories - you can take your outfit from everyday style to an outfit for a night out or an event. I have also realized (and observed) that unique pieces instantly make your outfit chic. This dress has a long back (although I didn't get to take a picture of the back of the dress - such a shame - but you can kinda see the detail of the dress in the first picture. hehe)
