Color blocking.

Color blocking is a popular trend that's hot for this season. It's wearing solid colors in one outfit, bold color combinations, bright and fun for the summer/spring. If you want to tone down the outfit a bit,  since the colors in the pieces are already bold and bright, it's best to keep your accessories, and shoes in the neutral palette, so as not to overdo the look. But if you're the bold fashionista, you could go with color blocking in the shoes as well.


I had the chance to try the trend last week when my friends and I attended Philippine Fashion Week. It was great to see all the outfits (and the shoes!!!) and the newest designs to hit the runway. Fashion week is always fun because aside from dressing up, it's also a chance to meet new people, and see the new trends and designers in the fashion industry. We got to watch the Luxewear show, Oxygen and were also invited to the SM Dept. Store fashion show.
