I LOVE HOW WEARING SOMETHING GOLD can add a certain spark to your outfit. It adds a quiet but sophisticated warmth to your outfit. :)
Random Food Cravings and Fashion Forecasts. We had our Monday night dinner at the newly opened Bonchon in Trinoma with the girls (we had the 9 piece combo of wings and drumsticks! supper yummy!) then had dessert at Parvati. We ordered a selection of our favorite desserts, mine is always a (dark) chocolate cake. :) It was just so good to hang out with the girls and eat the most delicious desserts, I just love eating out and bonding with friends.
Been surfing for the fashion forecasts for 2012, and I saw this Pantone color chart, showing the color trends that will be in next year. Being an architect, we work with color charts everytime, and color can make all the difference in design. Same with fashion. This chart will be the best guide for shopping, to scoop up the trendiest items, clothes and shoes in these flattering hues. :) I promise myself, I will wear more colored pieces next year, since I have always been comfortable with monochromatic outfits lately. It's time to introduce some changes next year, be bolder and more outrageous. (not just with my style, but in other areas too. :)
Christmas is just around the corner. So excited for it. :)

I have always enjoyed discovering new stuff, I love trying new things. :) My friends and I enjoy eating out at new places, and trying out new stuff, we get to bond and we enjoy the food. When one of my friends raved about how good Manang's Chicken was, I was just so excited to try it myself.
I find it very interesting that Manang's chicken started out as a simple family favorite. The now famous "Manang" is the family's cook, and the famous chicken has been a staple at family gatherings. It's amazing to see how things have worked out for the family who owns Manang's Chicken: they just went ahead and tried selling the chicken at the Mercato Food Bazaar, everyone liked the chicken, and the next thing they knew, they were already operating several stores because of the demand for their delicious chicken. That just goes to show that everyone can have a business, as long as you are willing to run with your vision. You just have to see how God will cause everything to fall into place. Now isn't that cool? He's the perfect business partner. :) Very inspiring!
And very mouth watering! My favorite part of the event was tasting the chicken. :) It has a very distinct taste that I am sure you'll love. They have the spicy version of their chicken! (I love spicy food!) And I love the potato crispies and the salad too. Enough said. Roll the pictures! :)

We had a super fun food tripping experience last week at the IL Merkanti food bazaar (Thanks Genn for the invites!). It was raining hard, but hey, we still had so much fun! I went with several bloggers (who have become friends too. :) and a couple of close friends to experience the food bazaar for the first time. It was a mouth watering experience, seeing all the food lined up on tables before you, you wouldn't know where to start!
So after much thinking (haha. yeah right. :), I started to look for my favorites first. I love dressing up, and wearing heels, but that doesn't mean that I don't eat isaw, its actually my favorite! So I went looking for that first. I found this booth where they sold stcks of isaw, loong sticks of it. Was just delicious. I think I'm craving for one now that I'm writing about it.
Some more of my favorites that I found in the bazaar : pasta, shrimp cooked in butter, fish and fries (chips), chicharon, sushi, cakes and desserts galore. And that's not everything yet. hehe. You'll have to visit the bazaar to experience and see all the food choices. Just looking at all the food is making me hungry. :)
Happy food-tripping! :)
Sunday nights are always fun. We get together after church and hangout, have coffee, or yogurt (Red Mango or Fruitti Froyo!) and dinner. I love Sunday nights because its the last time I get to spend hanging out, relaxing, enjoying company of friends, before Monday comes again.
We decided to hangout at Fruitti Froyo to have our yogurt snack (which is our new favorite place. We love it there because we get to hangout, and get to satisfy our craving for yogurt, at an affordable price! yummy!) Then we decided to eat at Sumo Sam (yes, were kinda spontaneous, dessert first before dinner. haha).
I just love going out with friends. I am a sentimental person, so I enjoy hangout dates and overnights, just having coffee, dinner or dessert and chatting and bonding with friends. Maybe it's also a girl thing. hehe. Our Sunday night hangouts are no exception. I always enjoy the company of friends, and we always have so much fun! :) Love it!

Don't you just love hanging out with friends? :)
I am a person who enjoys going out and spending time with friends. Dinners and coffee dates are my favorite things to do, you get to enjoy the good food, and spend time with friends. I find that eating at a good restaurant and enjoying the food, or having dessert or coffee is very relaxing after a hard day at work. I love eating out, I love exploring new places, and trying new food.
Here's a list of the restaurants that I would like to try this month. I've been hearing lots of good reviews from friends about some of the restaurants on this list (Bonchon! can't wait to try it!) and some of them I've been passing in malls, or have seen while travelling or on the internet.
1. Bonchon
(Korean restaurant now with a branch in the Philippines!)
First on my list : Bonchon Chicken. My friends and I were supposed to eat here once, but the restaurant was not open yet at that time. So now that it's open, I'd really love to try the food here. I heard the chicken is to die for, and I've read in a blog (credits to ourawesomeplanet.com) that they have this really interesting side dish called kimchi coleslaw which is a delish side dish that goes with the chicken, and since I love kimchi I'm definitely going to try this out.
2. Sumo Sam
(Japanese food!)
We were supposed to have dinner here yesterday (to celebrate valentines day. :) but the line was super long, so it must be that good! Friends who have tried it have praises for the food, so I'm dying to try this one out.
3. Kanin Club
(Filipino food)
Another promising choice if you're craving for Filipino food. Heard that their sinigang is the best! Will definitely try this, I love love Sinigang. Will try their other dishes as well. I remember stoping by Kanin Club one time during a site visit in Nuvali, Laguna. The technical team of the project we're doing (in Ayala Nuvali) loves this place.
4. The Red Crab
If seafood is your thing, then The Red Crab is one restaurant you should try. My friend and I passed by The Red Crab at Gateway one time and thought, we should try this out! I love eating crab, but I've never tried eating it at a restaurant yet (we always have crabs for dinner at home). so this would be an interesting experience. Ready the bibs, table napkins and claw crackers.
5. Yakimix
(Sushi, Smokeless Grill, Restaurant)
One of the much recommended restaurants, Yakimix offers a buffet of sumptuous food that you can prepare yourself, on a grill that is built in at your table. For me this is the fun part, you get to season, and cook your own food to taste. And you get to come back for more if you're that hungry! My sister tried it with her friends, and they can't help but crave the yummy iced desserts that are available at the buffet. Lots of good comments about Yakimix, and although I never got to try it before 2010 ended, I will definitely find time to eat there soon!
All this talk about food is making me hungry. hehe. :)
