SHOE LOVE! Was reading Patty Laurel's blog and saw these new styles from Suelas! Just had to post them here beacuse i soo liked them. :) The coolest thing about these is that you can easily fold them and bring them in your bag (when you change from your heels) or when travelling (hello different outfits with different shoes!) Will probably get myself a pair soon! :)

TRAVELING WITH FRIENDS. Our Hongkong Day 1 (or should I say night? hehe) was such a fun experience. It was so great to be with friends on this trip, I didn't even notice the long waits at the airport! (that's me and Elai with Boaz, we took the next flight to HK- Arj and Mags were on the flight 2 hours before ours) Of course, Elai and I killed time by taking selfies. haha) We arrived at 10pm at Hongkong International Airport, and met up with our good friend Adriel who is staying in HK for quite some time now. We last saw each other 2 years ago (he came home and the barkada went on an out of town trip) and we were thrilled to be seeing him again, this time it was us visiting him. :) We so loved HK's ariport, it was such a good sign of this being an exciting trip. :)
TRAVELING THE WORLD. We just came back from a short trip to Hongkong last weekend. I personally waited for this for the whole year (we booked our flight last year, in October. Abangan ang seat sales online!) and was super excited to be travelling out of the country again this year. The last time I traveled was in March of 2012, we went on a business trip with my close friends/kinakapatid to China. I had such a great time on that trip! Goal na yan every year to travel to one country at a time, starting first with the Asian countries (when our budgets permit us to do so. haha) . I know we just arrived early last Saturday, and I can't wait to go back! So in honor of my hangover from our Hongkong trip, here are some travel quotes with a little kwento on the side. haha.
The Mall of Asia is easily one of the most complete entertainment venues in the metro today. For just a quick train ride (or commute, or drive) you can find your getaway within the city, a place to watch the sunset, eat and have fun with the family and bring out your adventurous side. :) You could just imagine our excitement when we were invited by SM FECI (SM Family Entertainment Center Inc. for a bloggers' day, and a chance to experience some of the activities SM MoA has to offer. :)
MODERN DESIGN. It's so fulfilling to see something that you've worked so hard on come to life. The Clubhouse we (our firm) did for an Avida project in Nuvali is already up and running, and is being used by the home owners and guests, and it's so nice to think that it turned out well. This, by far, is one of my favorite projects I've worked on.
STYLING STAPLE. I always carry around a bottle of Vitress in my bag, for instant shiny and relaxed hair.
I have naturally wavy hair, so sometimes it gets hard for me to fix and style it. When I tried Vitress, I could totally say that my hair had been treated to an instant hair spa, making it shiny and relaxed, not to mention smelling so nice. :) So I make it a point to put some Vitress in my hair to take away the frizziness. I even use it when I iron and style my hair to give it extra shine and protection. My fave is the Vitress Hair Repair Cuticle Coat.

MY DAILY DOSE OF THE GOOGLYGOOEYS. I love how the Google Gooeys illustrate cartoons that everyone can relate to. Who hasn't experienced the feeling of waking up but not wanting to get up? That's exactly what the past few days have been for me, so hard to get out of bed because of the super cozy weather, I actually think fantasize about sleeping in and going to work at a later time every morning. haha.
I've been seeing these being worn by bloggers and I want in! :)
I love this song which is a new release from Hillsong's youth band Young and Free. :) it's not just about the music (which is soo nice by the way. Makes you want to dance and celebrate. haha). But the lyrics remind you of the unfailing love of God. :) And for those two reasons, it's fun to listen to it again and again.
I am excited, and am watching out for the rest of the songs in this album. :)
PS. I heard their album Glorious Ruins is good too! :)
Burger madness. Just seeing this picture of the delish hamburger makes my mouth water. Haha
I remember watching Before Sunrise and Before Sunset with two of my closest friends, Axelle and Tom, way back during my college days. Since we are suckers for love stories, and artsy kind of movies, we loved these two films. they are love stories - a tale of two people who fell in love, they found each other and quickly decided to spend more time together. It's interesting how they clicked and quickly delve into conversation about each other's lives.
They first meet on a train in Before Sunrise. Jesse (Ethan Hawk) whisks Celine (Julie Delpy) with him to Vienna. They whole movie they talk about their lives, just about anything under the sun. Then they part. They meet after nine years in Before Sunset, when Jesse heads to Paris on the last leg of his book tour (his book is about his encounter with Celine) and is surprised to see Celine in the bookstore. They talk and catch up and eventually end up in Celine's apartment. The viewers are left hanging whether or not Jesse catches his flight back.
I've just currently re-watched Before Sunset and was so happy to find out that they have a third movie!!! Before Midnight shows in all cinemas on July 3! :)
For those who haven't seen the first two movies, I've read reviews that you must see those first. The third movie has references to the first two. :)
I am definitely going to watch before Midnight! I am so curious and want to find out what happens next. :)

LOVE THE HOLIDAYS. l couldn't quite believe how fast the days have gone by. One day we were just waiting for Christmas to come, then it's already New Year's eve. :) Time flies so fast when you're having fun. Hehe. The next thing we know it's time to go back to work. Haha.

STYLING THE LBD. We recently attended our friend's debut party. When I found out that her theme was black and white, I got to thinking of my outfit. I wore the black dress I bought during my trip to China, it had a little opening in the back which was really cute. It is a shame that I haven't got a single picture of the whole dress. hehe. Paired it with my new nude pumps, and my gold necklace and clutch.

FUN FUN DOODLES AND COMIC ILLUSTRATIONS! I came across an interesting blog post from Patty Laurel (daPattyLaurel.blogspot.com) and couldn't help myself, i just had to check it out! hehe. And now im hooked! hahah. Googlygooeys.com is love. haha. I wish I had this kind of talent in drawing and illustrating. I just love the illustrations! I had so much fun looking through their site because of the countless illustrations and images that I could relate to! So since I love fashion, and I kinda love makeup too, here are two of the many illustrations i loved. They had some collaborations with some bloggers, which in my opinion is such a good and fun idea - they make the thoughts/ideas come to life through illustrations. What i really love about this is the quirky statements and comments that Ponggo and Tipsy insert. haha. Just a cool and fun site, I super love it! :)
In other news : Its been raining these past few days, which I kinda love (except when I have to commute in the pouring rain. The car is coming real soon! I declare! :) just the perfect time to sleep in, and when you finally wake up, its also the perfect time to have those movie/series marathons complete with hot chocolate. hehe. And what a perfect time to bring out those blazers, cardigans, jackets and scarves you've been keeping in your closet! Time to bundle up and layer, layer! :)

SUMMER! Can't wait to hit the beach and lounge around in the sand. hehe. It's been scorching hot outside, but it rained for a while yesterday, so it's been a lot cooler ever since. So looking forward to the rest of the summer, beach, vacay, lounging around, what more can you ask for? hehe.

OF CHRISTMAS PARTIES AND STARBUCKS. Christmas has always been my favorite time of the year. I love the festive feeling and the excitement of the holidays. There's nothing quite like it. :) We had our company Christmas party in Baguio this year. I have fond memories of Baguio, we used to spend every Christmas there when we were little kids, together with friends (kai, do you remember? hehe) It's great to go back and see it again, brings back happy memories. :) Was fun to shop along session road (they closed the other lane to make way for stalls! :) love love ukay and tiangges. :)
It's the week before Christmas and I'm still not done with my shopping list. I just remembered to list all my inaanaks. I have to finish that this week. hehe. I'm feeling the festive mood already, no ususal traffic along Katipunan Avenue today (where my office is.), i think all the schools are on vacation already. Can I go on vacation too? haha. I wish.

Random Food Cravings and Fashion Forecasts. We had our Monday night dinner at the newly opened Bonchon in Trinoma with the girls (we had the 9 piece combo of wings and drumsticks! supper yummy!) then had dessert at Parvati. We ordered a selection of our favorite desserts, mine is always a (dark) chocolate cake. :) It was just so good to hang out with the girls and eat the most delicious desserts, I just love eating out and bonding with friends.
Been surfing for the fashion forecasts for 2012, and I saw this Pantone color chart, showing the color trends that will be in next year. Being an architect, we work with color charts everytime, and color can make all the difference in design. Same with fashion.This chart will be the best guide for shopping, to scoop up the trendiest items, clothes and shoes in these flattering hues. :) I promise myself, I will wear more colored pieces next year, since I have always been comfortable with monochromatic outfits lately. It's time to introduce some changes next year, be bolder and more outrageous. (not just with my style, but in other areas too. :)
Christmas is just around the corner. So excited for it. :)

Christmas is my favorite time of the year! The malls are beginning to play Christmas songs, and we've put up the Christmas tree in our office. And when the Christmas drinks come out, you know that Christmas is just around the corner. :) I love the feeling of drinking my Starbucks drink, it reminds me of all the festivities and the family time we have during holidays. Sometimes we go out for coffee and just hangout, we take advantage of the opportunity that there is no work, and that everyone is around for the holidays. :)

The Starbucks tradition. I always look forward to November, when the Christmas drinks come out. I can have my favorite Toffeenut Latte again. And I like the planner this year. :) Its another Christmas tradition every coffee lover looks forward to. An excuse to splurge on coffee for the holidays, and to spend time with those special people in your life. :)
