Black and White

being an architect July 25, 2011

Being an architect can be demanding. There are lots of deadlines, stuff to be discussed and finalized, queries to be answered, designs to be submitted. But although there's loads of work at the office, we always manage to stay happy, we have fun! I brought my camera to the office last week and we just went crazy taking pictures (during breaktime, of course. haha). Just a bit of a break from the busy-ness of the day.

Forgot to wear my big earrings when the pictures were taken! (took the earrings off for a while. hehe. Will post the picture, the earrings are cute. :)

Shai is leaving soon. Will miss her to pieces! (Dedicated pala in honor of you Shaie! hehe.) Will still meet up pa naman for coffee and hangout. :)

You can't go wrong with an LBD. Love black and white. Classic. :)

I love wearing skirts, I find it more easier to move than when wearing pants. When I sleepover, I just pack a dress, and then I'm good to go. Wore my new Manels clogs with this outfit. :) Loved that the outfit looks casual but still dressed up.

Manel's Anniversary Sale!

I love shoes! I would love to have a pair of every kind if I was given a choice (hehe). I love getting pretty shoes at bargain prices, and I definitely love sales. :) So, I was excited that I was able to attend the private sale at Manel's, in celebration of their anniversary.

All shoe lovers and shopaholics (hehe) : the Manel's Anniversary Sale will last for 5 days, with 50% OFF on ALL items at ALL BRANCHES! The sale starts today, July 13 and will run 'till July 17. Super exciting news!

I could say the Manel's has stepped up their game, the Megamall store is newly done, and I must say that it is looking chic and fresher! (that's coming from a view point of an architect! :) Love the mix of pink (representing the line for the ladies: Catch) and the blue (representing the line for the men: Maphisto).

I love all the new stuff in the store! I had a hard time picking out one shoe that i liked, but I am very happy with my choice. It was like being a kid in a candy store! (hehe) Here are some of my favorites:

Lace on Architecture

Lace as an inspiration for the cladding/covering of this structure. A female architect must have designed this. hehe.

There is such a cross between fashion and architecture (two things I love. :) Fashion can take inspiration from architecture and architecture takes inspiration from fashion. It's interesting to see how the architects come up with brilliant ideas of how to finish/clad buildings.

Gorgeous play of light with this pattern.

perimeter "lace" fence. pretty. :)

Lace exudes gracefulness and sophistication. A great inspiration to pick up texture and pattern.
